Mack House is a self-service sneaker customization studio where you are able to personally customize your shoes. The studio session is 2 hours - where you get to be the artist & we'll guide you through making your own one-of-one pair of sneakers!

Book your appointment online & make sure you have your own pair of shoes to bring in for your session.

Material: Anything that is leather, canvas, or mesh. We recommend leather for beginners as it is the most forgiving material.

Colour: White sneakers are the most popular in the studio, but you can bring in any colour shoe.

A brand-new shoe will be the best blank clean canvas for your design, but you can also bring a gently worn pair from your collection instead.

A one-on-one session is possible if you are the only person who has booked that date & time.

All ages are welcome in our studio. 

This is a kid-friendly activity - any child aged 12 & younger is required to have an adult with them as a youth may benefit from having an extra set of hands available to help. Our Mack Tech on duty will be available to assist all guests in the room, but may not be able to provide the sole attention some youth may need.

We can help guide you with colours & suggestions on how to execute your idea. Your sneakers are for you to customize, so most of the decision-making is up to you.

We're here to guide you through how to use our tools & supplies in the studio. Your Mack Tech will not be able to draw for you but will be able to provide tips & tricks. 

We always encourage you to have an idea that is based on your skill level - so if you don't normally draw something like a dragon, your shoes may not be the place to start.

Mistakes on leather areas are most forgiving & will allow you to ‘erase’. If you’re working on canvas or mesh areas, most mistakes can’t be fixed. Mistakes can be worked around - if it’s an area you can’t erase, you may have to adapt your idea to disguise it!

You are able to customize your shoes using paint, markers, or fabrics. You also get to further customize with accessories such as laces, deubrés, aglets, and letter beads.

No, we do not sell our customizing supplies. We do offer a wide selection of shoelaces that you can purchase upon request.

No. Customizing one pair of shoes will fill the whole two-hour session.

You cannot commission one of our Mack Techs to customize your shoes for you.
